I entered the real estate profession in January of 2002. My first position was to assist an established local broker with an array of tasks with heavy emphasis on listing homes and client care. I eventually managed the office and was heavily involved in training all of the new agents. Also during that residence, I gained my real estate salesperson license, joined the local, state and national Board of Realtors and began to work as a Buyer’s Agent.
Prior to joining the real estate field, I worked in the hospitality industry. I have a culinary degree from Johnson & Wales University and was employed by Walt Disney World(Orlando, FL), Marriott Corporation (Orlando, FL and Boston, MA), Hatherly Country Club (Scituate, MA), and Sodexho Corporate Services most recently at Plimoth Plantation. I feel that this highly customer service based business has uniquely prepared me to exceed the quality and service expectations my clients deserve. And I am always happy to share a recipe with them!!
I was raised on the South Shore in Marshfield where I attended local schools and have many fond memories. I currently reside in Scituate which I find to be rich in history and old New England charm. I live in a home that was built circa 1712 and has remained in my family since it was built. We are currently rehabbing the home and the property.
I continue to educate myself by taking classes on a variety of real estate related subjects. I read as much as I can to remain current on local and state issues. I also research the web for materials that will be helpful to my clients as they prepare to move. I would never claim to know everything about real estate and if I do not know the answer to a particular question, I will tell you and then do the research to get the correct answer.
I work hard to keep my schedule flexible to accommodate the busy lives of the folks I work with. I understand that in any service based business it is not only about receiving superior and knowledgeable service but also the experience you have. Whether you are buying or selling, real estate can be an emotional roller coaster ride. I am there every step of the way to help to navigate the emotions and keep focused on the facts at hand.
